Delivery Information
The daily cut off point for all orders is 12pm. If you place your order after this time your delivery may be affected (particularly saturday deliveries), please contact us for information.
Please note, we will require POI (Proof of ID) and a signature from the individual who has paid for the materials upon delivery.
The Sandstone Centre Ltd uses a reliable well known 3rd party pallet distribution company to deliver your goods from our yard to your premises.
Our pallet distribution company will collect the items from our yard and transport them directly back to their depot. It is then reloaded onto a smaller vehicle i.e. a hiab or tail gate vehicle, before being delivered to your premises.
Unfortunately, the distribution company is not insured to drive onto your premises, so the goods will be dropped at curb side. However, once the goods are removed from the vehicle, the driver is able to move the items right outside your premesis using a pallet truck. Please ensure to make note of this, as this material is over 1 tonne per pallet and can be extremely difficult and dangerous to move. Especially without the use of a pallet truck or fork lift truck.
All products purchased from The Sandstone Centre take approx. 3 - 4 working days to be delivered. Normal delivery times are Monday to Friday between 09.00am - 17.00pm. A Timed Delivery or Saturday Delivery is available for our natural stone products only.
For your convenience; if you require your products earlier, we do have a procedure in place which allows us to send out orders earlier. This service will incurr an extra cost, please contact us for more information.
Natural Stone Products
The natural stone prices indicated on our website are inclusive of Standard Delivery within England (usually 3-4 working days). There is a small additional charge for deliveries within Wales and Scotland, of £12.00 and £17.00 respectively, per crate (plus VAT). If this applies to you, please contact us before ordering as we may be able to negotiate a better delivery price for you.
Further to the Standard Delivery option, we are able to offer a Timed Delivery or Saturday Delivery:
Timed Deliveries are also delivered within 3-4 working days, however you can specify Before 10am (additional £15.00 per crate plus VAT), Before 12pm (additional £10.00 per crate plus VAT) or for a specific time; Timed Delivery (additional £20.00 per crate plus VAT).
If you would like a specific Timed Delivery then please enter the desired time in the 'Special Delivery Notes' field in the Shopping Basket.
Our Saturday Delivery is AM only, and is charged at an additional £30 per crate plus VAT. Saturday deliveries will be sent for the next available saturday - if you order your products on a friday please ensure it is before 12pm, otherwise it is likely that your order won't be delivered until the following Saturday.
In all of the above cases, you will be contacted by our team to confirm the exact date your delivery will be with you.
Wood Flooring Products
All wood flooring orders are subject to a fixed delivery cost of £60.00 (plus VAT). This is applicable for all areas of the UK, regardless of the quantity ordered (usually 3-4 working days).
Flooring Accessory Products
All flooring accessories are subject to a fixed delivery cost according to the size and weight of the product. The delivery cost will be applicable for each item you order (usually 3-4 working days).
